Programs

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center offers a variety of nature programs that appeal to all ages.

Many of our programs are family oriented, while some are “kid-only” or “adult-only." Please be aware that for most family oriented programs, an adult must participate with children and teens under the age of 18. Specifically, an adult must sign-up, attend, and pay the program fee. For some children’s programs, an adult does not need to stay, but they must sign-in their child. Payment is due at the start of each program. Cash and checks are accepted. Visa and MasterCard are only available for specific programs, so please check ahead of time if this is your preferred form of payment.

Our programs have minimum and maximum sizes that vary per program. If the minimum class size is not met two days prior to the date of the class, it is subject to cancellation. Classes are also subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

Pre-registration is required for all programs. You can register in person at the front desk of the Nature Center, or by phone at 561.338.1473. Please be prepared to provide your name, number of participants, ages of children, a valid phone number, and let us know if you are a member, as members receive a discounted rate on many programs.

If you are interested in purchasing Turtle Walk or Hatchling Release tickets this spring at member prices before they go on sale to the public, you must join Gumbo Limbo by April 30, 2008 or be current with your membership dues by that date.
