Seining the Lagoon

Grab a net and find out what lives in the grasses of the Intracoastal Waterway at Gumbo Limbo.  Hand-held dip nets and large seine nets help us examine a variety of fish, shrimp, crabs, and other marine life.

Wear old sneakers or wading shoes; sandals and flip flops are not permitted.  Wear a hat and sunblock!

Ages 10 - adult.  An adult must sign-up and participate with children. 

Class size:  Minimum 5, maximum 10.

Supervision Required: An adult must participate with children.

Member cost: $4 per person
Non-member cost: $6 per person

Many of our programs are family oriented. Children must be accompaniesd an adult unless otherwise specified.
