Have you joined Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, Inc., upgraded or renewed your membership for 2008? Be sure to do so by April 30 in order to be eligible for the Members-Only Presale for both the 2008 Turtle Walks and Hatchling Releases. Please inquire about ticket limits when you join.
Join Gumbo Limbo Staff and learn about the sea turtles that nest on our beaches, problems they are facing, and what you can do to help. Go over to the beach, and if you are lucky, see a loggerhead turtle lay her eggs! Turtle Walks will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings (9:00 pm - 11:00 pm) May 27 though July 3.
This program is for ages 8 and up, and an adult must participate with children under the age of 18.
The Member Presale will begin Saturday, May 10 at 9:00 am and continue through May 16, or until the allotted tickets are sold out. Tickets for Turtle Walks are cash or check only, with checks payable to the City of Boca Raton. Tickets are $5 each for members.
Tickets must be purchased in person.
Ticket Limits:
You must have joined as a member on or before April 30, 2008 to be eligible to purchase tickets at the presale on May 10.
The General Sale will begin on Saturday, May 17 at 9:00 am and continue until tickets are sold out. Tickets at the General Sale are $8 each, and there is a limit of 6 tickets per person.
Individual Memberships: 2 tickets per member at the presale
Family Memberships: 6 tickets per member at the presale
Contributor Membership: 10 tickets per member at the presale
Supervision Required: An adult must participate with children.
